Jenna Jameson Too Hot for Miramar

Just how prudish, rude, and clownish can you be?
And even better question though, is why Tito frigging Ortiz was invited to be a guest speaker at an event which exists to remember and honor the Corps and it's history and heroes. I have nothing against the guy - or Jenna Jameson for that matter. I have nothing against the UFC except that I think it has become kind of soap opera-like and WWE-ish.
But get this, there are 13 living Marines who have won the Navy Cross (second only to the Medal of Honor) since Sept. 11. There are scores of Marines who have won Silver and Bronze Stars. I simply cannot believe that there is not a single Marine, former or active, in the San Diego area that has done something noteworthy in battle and would make an outstanding guest of honor. I realize that Miramar was hosting some kind of UFC match as well, but the Marine Corps Ball is about honoring Marine heritage, not honoring celebrities and athletes. Apart from wrestling, fighting in the UFC, and having roles in two forgettable films, I don't see that Mr. Ortiz has done much of anything, and certainly nothing that has any connection to the military or our nation.
Just the same, if they invited the man, he should be able to bring whoever he wants as his date. It's not like Jenna Jameson is Al Queda or Eva Braun, nor do I think she would have shown up intending to display her skills to the assembled crowd. Sticking by one's word is of greater value than being a goody-two-shoes. In my experience, I'm pretty sure a few of the wives that went could show Jenna a thing or two in the tramp department.
It's just a damn embarrassment from beginning to end.
